Thank you for entering your painting into the BP Portrait Award competition this year. The digital round of judging is now complete and I am pleased to inform you that your work has been selected for the second round of judging in March. We would therefore be grateful if you could deliver your artwork to the judging venue at Trinity Buoy Wharf, London between the 25 February and 1 March, 2019 (details below):

Delivery Dates

For works arriving by post, courier or in person:
Monday 25 Feb, 09.00 – 17.00
Tuesday 26 Feb, 09.00 – 17.00
Wednesday 27 Feb, 09.00 – 17.00
Thursday 28 Feb, 09.00 – 17.00
Friday 1 March, 09.00 – 17.00 

No entries will be accepted at the London collection point after 17.00 on Friday 1 March 2019. Entries will not be accepted at any other times.

A Gallery representative will provide a receipt on delivery of the work for those delivered in person. Please note that the Gallery cannot acknowledge receipt of paintings sent by post. Applicants requiring proof of delivery are advised to use a recorded delivery or courier service.

If you do decide to use a courier company please ensure that you complete and sign the Letter of Acceptance by clicking here. We would be grateful if you could email this back to us at bpaward@npg.org.uk once your work has been collected.

If delivering by hand a receipt will be provided on delivery. Please remember to remove all attachments from the back of your painting and attach the label at the bottom of this letter. If you are delivering the painting in person to Trinity Buoy Wharf please ensure that you take away all packaging with you, as this cannot be retained.

If you fail to submit your painting to the delivery point at the times specified, it will automatically be disqualified from the competition. The registration fee is non-refundable.

You will be notified of the judges’ decision by email by the end of the day on Monday 11 March 2019. If you have not received notification by this date, please email bpaward@npg.org.uk or call 020 7321 6699.
